Kate is an attorney in Rochester, NY who has practiced locally in the area of Trusts and Estates and Elder Law for the past 7 years. She grew up in the Pittsford/Brighton area, went to Allendale Columbia School, and now works just around the corner!
Kate earned her B.A. from Williams College, and J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as the managing editor of the Virginia Journal of Law of Social Policy. Since graduation, she has practiced law in medium and small private firms. She started her solo law practice in the middle of the pandemic, since she recognized an explosion in demand for virtual legal services. While she still prefers “face-time,” she is excited to be in a position where she can adapt quickly to client desires and needs for secure, online services.
Kate is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Rochester, Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys and the New York State Bar Association. She current volunteers with the Trusts and Estates Council at the Monroe County Bar Association and the Genesee Land Trust. She also serves on the Board of Governors at the Genesee Valley Club.
